Social programme

6 - 9 April 2020 will be a unique opportunity to enjoy the company of top experts in the field of sustainable development from all around the world and exchange ideas in a more informal way during the AP SDEWES social programme. The social programme is included in all conference fees (and the accompanying person fee).

 

Welcome reception


6th April (Monday) – 18:00 – 20:00 h

The reception will be held at 18:00 h at the Uni Bar, Griffith University, Gold Coast campus. Join us for a formal start of the Conference with welcome drinks and refreshments.

Registration starts at 17:00 h.

 

Conference excursion and dinner


8th April (Wednesday) – 14:00 – 22:00 h

The Gold Coast is renowned for its laidback lifestyle, stretches of white sandy beaches, kilometres of waterways and amazing climate. We have a very special day planned for our participants when we will experience this lovely coastal lifestyle and embark on a cruise from the Marina Mirage. 

Conference dinner is scheduled for 20:00h at the Southport Yacht club.

Bus transportation will be organized from the conference venue to Marina Mirage and return.
